Bangkok Tour, Half Day, Morning

Floating markets are like living museums where you can immerse in the local culture and way of life as it once was before the arrival of global consumerism. Totally lively and somewhat chaotic, small 'khlongs' or canals are filled with flat boats piled high with fresh produce, each jockeying for position and paddled by ladies ready to stop and bargain at a moment’s notice. It’s colourful, noisy, touristy but great fun. During the long-tail boat ride to market, you’ll pass orchards, traditional teak houses and local people going about their lives. To be visited is Nakorn Pathom town, site of the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia.

Bangkok Canal takes you by boat along the legendary Chao Phraya River and some canals on the Thon Buri side is the most pleasant way to explore the city once dubbed “Venice of the East”.

Visit Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha: This city landmark should be the first place on any visitor’s itinerary, which features some of the most spectacular architecture in South East Asia. The palace begun in 1782. It is a consisting of several building with highly decorated architectural designs.
Wat  Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) The magnificent Royal Chapel, Wat Phra Kaeo in the same compound enshrines the Emerald Buddha Image, most revered by people.

The Ancient City is the door opening to the heritage of Thai wisdom. With a wide range of architectural symbols combined with fine arts and craftsmanship, structural layout and natural environment that integrate harmoniously, The Ancient City creates kind of atmosphere that induces visitors to perceive and appreciate the continuity of history, cultures, religions, arts and customs of Thai people from dawn until now.
A visit to the Ancient City is comparable to a Thailand-round journey within a day.
