4D3N Combination of Sagada Banaue Tour

4D3N Combination of Sagada Banaue Tour

Banaue Rice Terraces, known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, stretch like stepping stones to the sky - some extending several thousand feet upwards. If the terraces were laid end to end, they would stretch half way around the world. The rice terraces manifest the engineering skill and ingenuity of the sturdy Ifugaos. They are irrigated by means of mountain streams and springs that have been tapped and channelled into canals that run downhill through the rice terraces.

Sagada is famous for its hanging coffins. This is a traditional way of burying people that is still utilized. Not everyone is qualified to be buried this way; among other things, one had to have been married and had grandchildren.
