Cosh is required for those who also wants to become Scaffold Inspector. Cosh Training for all interested. Cosh Training for Amo. Cosh Training for Ste. Cosh Training for Safety Officer. Cosh is Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training. Pcab is Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board. Amo is Authorized Managing Officer. Ste is Sustaining Technical Employee. Safety Officer. Prc is Professional Regulation Commission. Dole is Department of Labor and Employment. For Amo, you may take Cosh before taking Amo seminar because there are learnings from Cosh that is expected of you as Amo when you attend the Amo seminar - this is as per our former Cosh graduates who are took Amo after Cosh. Pcab requires Amo to undergo 2-day Amo seminar. This is conducted by Dti. Pcab requires Amo and Ste to undergo Cosh training. It is a 40 hours or 4 days training for Amo and Ste. If the Amo is a licensed engineer or architect with at least 3 years experience, he can be the Amo and Ste at the same time. If this is the case, then only 1 person needs to undergo COSH. If the Amo is not an engineer, another employee, an Ste must be hired by the Amo and he/she should also attend Cosh training.
Note that contracting companies need a safety officer per site or project location. An SO must undergo Cosh training to meet Pcab requirement for safety officer. We suggest that the Amo, Ste, and SO attend all at the same time so that they get to hear the same principles of safety and health in the workplace.
